A-1E of the South Vietnamese Air Force attacking Viet Cong positions, circa 1966. 24" x 18" acrylic on gessobord. $350 The Curtiss F9-C "Sparrowhawk" was designed for use as a reconnaissaince aircraft. It was known as "The Flying Trapeze" because it was launched from and recovered by the U.S. Navy Airships Akron and Macon. Six Sparrowhawks were built in 1932. “Shamrock Special” was a B-17F-60-BO 42-29591 of the 401st BS, 91st BG. After being damaged in a ground collision with another Fort, it received a new rear fuselage. It carried 3 separate pin-ups, one on either side of the nose, and a more impressive lass, painted by Jack Gaffney, on the tail. It was returned to the USA in mid-1944. 20" x 10" acrylic on illustration board. $400

A-10A 80-0186 of the 23rd TFW from England AFB, Louisiana was battle damaged on three separate occasions during Desert Storm. This shows the last, and most serious damage, caused by an IR SAM. It was repaired an returned to service each time. 20" x 10" acrylic on illustration board $325

Iraqi Freedom Apache.  20" x 15" acrylic on board. $700 “Our Gal Sal” was a B-17G-30-BO of the 338th BS, 100th BG out of Thorpe Abbots, UK. It flew over 100 combat missions, and carried the scoreboard on its starboard fuselage. The nose art and mission log were painted by ground crewman Frank Stevens. 20" x 8" acrylic on board. $400

Major Frederick "Boots" Blesse was a USAF Korean War ace, and the author of the air-to-air tactics manual "No Guts, No Glory!" A primary dogfighting tactic, the rolling scissors, is demonstated in this painting, as Blesse begins to roll right, over the top of the left-turning Mig, a maneuver which will put him at the Mig's 6 o'clock. “Holy Smokes” was B-17G 43-37523 of the 560th BS, 388th BS. It flew 84 combat missions, from 6 June 1944 to 2 May 1945.

“Wabash Cannonball” was a B-17F-80-BO of the 322nd BS, 91st BG out of Bassingbourn, UK.  Famed nose artist Tony Starcer painted the Disney-esk nose art. It flew over 60 combat missions before being retired to CONUS as war-weary. It was later scrapped. acrylic on board 20" x 8" $400
